An editor's training is planned on 6 October prior to the Toronto Meeting mainly for Editors, Project Leaders and Conveners. The 5C4 handbook (N445) gives procedures for explaining SC4 organization management and includes informative appendices such as contact list, how to access SOLIS, etc. By FDIS, all normative references shall be at DIS (or better) status. A new resolution (226) requires that all Aps should include "evidence of validation" for approval purposes in addition to the qualification, integration and editing requirements. APIB (Application Protocol Information Base of NIST) is available to developers of ISO 10303 through WWW. (Contact apde@cme.nist.gov) An APDE workshop is planned at Toronto meeting.

The projects are to be completed within 3 years. If not possible, mandatory written justification for extension of the period beyond 3 years is needed. AP scope changes require NWI (New Work Item) approval. Progress of ISO 10303-1 through 518 was shown in a series of slides followed by a listing of actions for the week.
